here’s a Little of My Story From a Breakdown to Breakthrough 

I started my online  journey 12 years ago, under some of the most stressful circumstances of my life. My baby was in the ICU, and I had to deliver her evening feed. But my husband’s car just wouldn’t start . 🚗💔

When we called the roadside assistance number, they told us the plan had already been cancelled months earlier by a family member, and I stood there absolutely in shock.

That moment changed everything. It wasn’t just about a car that wouldn’t start it was about me needing to step up and take responsibility for my family’s future.

At the time, I had a BBM list full of contacts and I tried selling Pitter Patter shoes to everyone I could. It didn’t take off. I tried so many other business ideas, so many things that didn’t work, before I finally found my niche in property management and Airbnb.

 Most people give up at the first or second setback but success doesn’t come from luck. It comes from hard work, patience, and a refusal to quit.

What I Learned Along the Way

Here are some lessons I want you to carry with you

1. There is no straight path to success

You might start with one idea and it might not work. That’s OK. Most entrepreneurs go through many ideas before finding the right one.

 💡 Treat every “failure” as a step closer to what does work.

2. Failure is part of the process, it’s okay to fail.

Failing doesn’t mean you’re done it means you’re learning. The road to success is full of trial and error.

Mindset

📿 إِنَّمَا الأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ

Actions are judged by intentions, and each person will have what they intended.

Remember to remind yourself before doing an act, while doing an act and after doing an act to check your intentions.

Don’t worry of what people think, if I cared what people thought of me I would have never been where I am today. People in your community are going to laugh at anything you start, they going to send your videos or business reels to each other and laugh. It’s okay, remember you are doing it to earn a halaal riqz. There is absolutely no shame in that.

Allah promises provision to those who pray their obligatory prayers. It is your job to pray and his job to provide.

• 📌 pick a niche you enjoy or something you see yourself doing.

• 📌 Use AI and YouTube videos to learn

Tip: You can do a faceless & voiceless account, nobody needs to know it’s you or your account. Create a new email and ID for the account.

💡 If you can afford paid courses/mentors, invest wisely by choosing credible teachers you’ve followed or trust. But if not, use what’s free for now.

🧑‍💻 Earn Online (Work From Home)

While you build a Social Media presence, you can work online from home. • Customer service representative

• Data entry clerk

Enter information, manage spreadsheets, organize files, assist with admin tasks

👉 Check remote data entry & assistant jobs

• Transcriptionist

• Virtual assistant / PA

• Online tutor• Teach English or school subjects to students (kids or adults)

• Content writer / Creative / YouTuber

•Social media manager

•Graphic designer

• Influencer or blogger

💡 These aren’t always listed as job postings but can be done via freelance platforms lor by building your own online brand.

(The key is choosing roles that match your skills, equipment, and schedule.)

Create profiles to find pay-per-project work in services like writing, design, marketing, admin, tutoring, and more.

1) Online Tutoring / Teaching

Teach languages or subjects, especially English. (VIPKid, Skooli, or advertising on LinkedIn/YouTube)

Buy products that’s in demand and market online / WhatsApp to Sell online. Think handmade products, Products you find unique (Shopify, Etsy, Amazon, Takealot).
